VELON | 2023 ANNUAL GROUP TRAVEL – WUYI MOUNTAIN AND FUJIAN TULOU

In 2023, we embarked on a journey to Wuyi Mountain, located at the border of Jiangxi and Fujian provinces, to immerse ourselves in the captivating scenery and rich culture of this region.

Part 1

From June 2nd to June 5th, we embarked on a four-day, three-night adventure across the picturesque landscapes of Fujian Province, accompanied by hundreds of our dedicated employees. Together, we indulged in the beauty of nature, savored the local cuisine, and experienced the unique tea culture of the region. Amidst the majestic Wuyi Mountains, we strolled along the valleys, marveling at the thousands of streams gracefully flowing through the landscape. The distinctive mountain ranges and meandering streams combined to create a breathtaking vista before our eyes.

Part 2

No visit to Wuyi Mountain would be complete without immersing ourselves in its unique tea culture - the renowned Wuyi Mountain Da Hong Pao tea. Through the artistry of tea-making, we embraced centuries of tea culture. In this tranquil retreat far from the hustle and bustle of the city, everyone found solace and let go of their weariness.

Part 3

Fujian Tulou - a marvel of architecture dating back 600 years. Many of us might recognize its presence from the iconic Disney movie "Mulan." The peculiar design of the Tulou fortifications reinforces their defensive capabilities, providing a sense of unity among families residing within. The circular structure epitomizes the unity of the people who inhabited this land centuries ago. We felt the significance of unity in preserving such a magnificent structure and cultural heritage.

Conclusion

Though our journey lasted merely four days and three nights, each member of the VELON team found relaxation, and everyone gained something valuable.
