Firstly, we must understand that these chemical hoses all have a certain degree of chemical resistance, but the range of corrosion resistance they can provide is different.

Secondly, UPE material, this is an ultra-high molecular weight polymer, which has very good wear resistance, impact resistance, and a low coefficient of friction. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is stable in concentrated hydrochloric acid at 80°C, and it is also stable in less than 20% nitric acid, less than 75% sulfuric acid. It is also stable to water and liquid detergents. It can also withstand low temperatures. Thirdly, EPDM, this is a material we are all very familiar with (I believe users who can read this article are relatively familiar with this material, lol). The application of this material is very extensive because it has good stability. It has excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, heat resistance, acid and alkali resistance, water vapor resistance, color stability, electrical properties, oil filling, and flow at room temperature. EPDM rubber products can be used for a long time at 120°C, and can be used briefly or intermittently at 150-200°C. However, compared with the two materials mentioned above, its chemical resistance is slightly worse. It has good resistance to various polar chemicals such as alcohols, acids, bases, oxidizers, refrigerants, detergents, animal and vegetable oils, ketones, and fats; but it is less stable in aliphatic and aromatic solvents (such as gasoline, benzene, etc.) and mineral oils. Its performance also decreases under the long-term action of concentrated acids.
