What is Peristaltic Pump Hose?

But there are major differences in the design of the hose. Peristaltic pump tube in the field of medicine is not reinforced layer, while the peristaltic hose pump tube is a reinforced structure.

Part C serves as the outer rubber. It is usually made of wear-resistant rubber, which is used to protect the inner rubberized cord fabric layer from the abrasion of rotor extrusion. Industrial peristaltic hose pump wall thickness is one of the important indicators of hose performance. Only the correct wall thickness hose can be installed into the pump and can work reliably. Precise tolerances on hose wall thicknesses ensure consistent compression without pressure peaks. This minimizes stress on rotors, bearings or other mechanical components. A difference in wall thickness of just 1mm can reduce the life of a hose by at least 25%.
